It tells of her past struggles with weight and acceptance for herself. This book never really made me chocollate to read more. Ha ha ha ha, LL is one crazy bitch. Lisaa you read it, you know what I mean. Like a lot of comedians, her humor stems from a difficult childhood. She is one of my favorite stand up comics, and the queen of the roast.

Share your thoughts with other customers. There were a couple humorous parts. She is a “blue” comic, meaning she can use alot of profanity and tell jokes some might find offensive.
And, I love her crazy ‘s outlandish housewife dresses. Maybe listening to these types of books on audio would be better.
I found it very funny and laughed out loud many times. There is a lot of terrific material here; funny, insightful, revealing.

The Lovable Queen Of Mean is so annoying and obnoxious that I found myself skipping entire passages while I was reading.
Maybe it was just more comedy than I could take in one sitting. There are some slow points, but overall Chocolate is pleasr great little memoir. Lists pleaze This Book. Jan 08, Sheryl rated it really liked it. I didn’t find Lisa Lampanelli funny as much as I found her rude and off-putting. Known for her roasts, LL is bitingly mean, wicked raunchy and outrageous – kind of like Chelsea Handler on steroids. Print edition purchase must be sold by Amazon.
It feels like those pages were simply tacked on. I’m lissa type of person that will trip in the middle of a crowded mall and burst with hyena laughter until I can’t breathe.

I didn’t even know who she was. People like Lisa who make us laugh are worth their weight in gold! Only someone with absolutely no self esteem could write a book like this. I wondered why so little pub in the mainstream media?
Because I love her, I gave it a try, I made it through the whole book, and She’s my favorite because she has boobs and a foul mouth and she’s not afraid to use either. It’s too bad so many were private events and not available to the public.
I would actually have preferred to read another essay about her life than a series of chocolats about different subjects.

Explore the Home Gift Guide. It was a list of her “Rules to Live By” which were really, by her own admission, just her opinion on everything she could think of. I think the book has a solid structure. I’d seen her live act 3 times and remember her mentioning that she had a book due out, and then never heard of lapmanelli after that.
