I “think” my final rating is 2. First we have the ages old vampire story – Lenah is beautiful, evil, and oh-so-tortured. S I loved this story! The vampires in Infinite Days are evil and have no redeeming qualities. He was probably the most dullest love interest. Vicken also has an amazing connection with Lenah.
When I first began reading, I found myself upset – sad even, to the point of tears. Who knows, maybe I would have felt differently had he been hanging solo before his big soiree with Lenah.
Lenah is supposed to keep a low profile, because she has to remain hidden for her coven. And in that moment of death I thought that maybe I would never be absolved of my atrocities, that maybe I would die and the transformation would go wrong. You heard me correctly.
Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel
I’m shallow… I know. Sometimes she kills people just because she is bored. Yes, that is intended to be taken in two ways. Speaking of the boyfriend, Justin, I am tired of reading novels where the audience is presented with a total hunk and then told that we should like him.
The reasons for loving him were completely different from how I felt about Rhode dayss the love was there none the less. Her vampire lover, Rhode, went through a complex ritual to restore her to her original state.
He is selfless, has a conscience, and is caring. I was quiet glad the author didn’t focus to much on the other girls in the story.
Vampire Queen Series
There are infiniet a couple of individual murders that are described, and they are not graphic. Rhode, her soul mate, best friend and creator discovered the ritual, but it cost his life. This is how long it took me to listen to the full audiobook nearly 9 hours.
One more thing… there has to be a sequel… seriously. The book ends on such a massive cliffhanger. Those were the last words I could remember. So of course Lenah goes and ‘falls in love’ with the popular kid, despite the fact that they’ve never had an actual conversation. I don’t get why she was buried for years so Rhode could prepare everything to make her human again.
Justin had little to no personality and no interests outside of sports or whatever and checking out Lenah. For Justin, who’s infinote utter nonentity.
Because if that logic was true, this would have been a very good book. From time to time there are flashbacks to her former life, so that we get to know her better, how she was when she was a Vampire.
There is Lenah, who is an evil yrs old Vampire Queen.
She never meant to hurt Tracy by hooking up with her boyfriend? So if you have a spare moment, please tell us your thoughts by writing a reader’s review. I, for one, loved it. Lenah was so bitter due to super old vamp Rhode stealing her away from her family, her orchard, and her humanity. I really felt for the characters. And then, of course, she has to excel in everything: I was surprised, too!
Lenah invites Justin up to her room; he closes the bedroom door and as the next chapter starts, they wake up in bed together. The positives are plentiful and the story really interested me; Lenah has spent five hundred years as a vampire part of which was spent as queen of a coven but now she longs to finally become human again, to have the chance to feel alive and experience the world with human rdbecca and emotions. While I’m willing to concede that I’m not the target audience for Infinite DaysI don’t believe YA is beyond an adult reader’s enjoyment.

Infinite Days (Vampire Queen, #1) by Rebecca Maizel
Lenah, our main character, has been alive for ish years, so obviously, she’s had her fair share of romance, and odds are she hasn’t spent all years with one person. Apr 29, Lexie rated it lnfinite was amazing Shelves: Return to Book Page. Jun 25, Jenny rated it liked it.
