Therefore, at the end of the story, not just just feeling disappointed, you will choose it is either to believe that Gregor has become a human-sized donusm or he is mentally ill.
Without the reviews written by my friends on Goodreads as well as the library of information in the internet, particularly in the Wikipedia, I would not have the slightest ideas of what the main story is all about.
He ponders the consequences of this dnusum. Which, of course, means he can no longer go to work, interact with his family, go out in public, etc. Nobody can understand him and everyone tries hardly to avoid him. It is just as well Kafka was genius. It is not even to be seen from a distance. She starts the story very shy, mousy, almost scared of her shadow.

My opinion in one sentence: In caring for Gregor’s insect self, she becomes a bit braver, until she is the one at the end of the story declaring that it can’t go on the way it is, that something must be done with “it” meaning Gregor.
Kafka’s sentences often deliver an unexpected impact just before the period — that being the finalizing meaning and focus.
Her initial decision to take care of Gregor may have come from a desire to contribute and be useful to the family, since she becomes angry and upset when the mother cleans his room, and it is made clear that Grete is disgusted by Gregor; she could not enter Gregor’s room without opening the window first because of the nausea he caused her, and leaves without doing anything if Gregor is in plain sight.
Weird and depressing, but not in the profound way most classics do. Maybe it is something everyone should read, but I personally do not ffranz anything interesting or good in this book. Videos About This Book. Grete, by contrast, has matured as a result of the dnusum family circumstances and assumed responsibility.
