It is definitely a favorite of mine. He gave me someone to share my love of Him.
Tuhan memberikan jalan bagi anak-anaknya yang berusaha efich manusia yang baik, meskipun terkadang untuk menjadi baik kita tidak melaksanakan apa yang orang tua kita harapkan So you see, the plot is thick and entangled. And that is what has given meaning to my life. They met as children, innocents from two different worlds.

This, he does very well and I think that’s why I’m starting to enjoy his stories and his characters, even if their fundamental flaw is that they are too perfect. She was raised to be docile and dutiful–the perfect rabbi’s wife–but love will lead her to rebellion. But, did it make it to my all time favourite books which I’ll revisit again.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. Monica Solanki rated it it was ok Dec 01, Still, I love this novel for all its glib narration and simplistic storytelling. We all need more wise and important books like this one. A bit melodramatic, as I recall Sanjay Chitranshi rated it it was ok Jan 26, He was best-known for writing the novel Love Storya bestseller, and writing the motion picture of the same name, which was a major hit.
Its a saga that explores too of the most popular faiths – Christinaity and Juadaism. This book is one of my favorite of all times.

It could have been written by a young reader in a creative writing class. It is a multiple love story– two men’s love of their God, one Jewish, one Christian.
The novel is about 3 young people who grew up in New York, Deborah and Daniel who are children of a famous Rabbi, and Tim who’s an orphaned Catholic. Despite all this, I enjoyed Acts of Faith. The story intertwines three lives: Maybe I’m biased because I know so few pious people in real life, so the characters and their storylines seemed really far-fetched. This novel explores the paradox of two religions serving the same God, but from wholly different perspectives.
This is fiction, not literary fiction. Jun 01, Shaily rated it it was amazing. If they had died martyrs, it would have been more credible. What follows is through many decades, the life of all three characters, affected by their choices and its effect on their faith. I won’t give more of the story line away. Mass Market Paperbackpages.

I would definitely recommend this to Segal fans, and those who like romance novels or simply want to know more about Jewish customs, through a story. Such a great book!!! The story revolves around three characters– Deborah, Daniel and Timothy– each leading their own lives but drawn to each other by loyalty to their faith.
The characters were struggling to understand their own heritage and what part of it was choice and what part a required privilege. I was mostly interested in the story of Deborah.
It’s definitely not the best Segal I’ve read. He describes the world of Judaism and Catholicism in a very engaging and interesting way, providing specific details and terminology. Want to Read saving…. Deborah has been raised very orthodox Jew. Definitely will recommend it to others. The characterization makes it difficult drich accept any character.
Acts of Faith
So interesting to read about two faiths and how they relate to and perceive God. His life events and especially the climax were too good to be true, didn’t feel realistic to me. She also loves a Christian, one who loves her dearly but is powerless to respond. Timothy is easily the star of the story for me and srgal only one whose actions in the end justified the build up.
Lists with This Book. She had the most dimensions.
Trivia About Acts of Faith. I love all Erich Segal’s books, and this one was great too, although more low-key.
His home life and therefore, no familial support was less than ideal, so it seemed his choices in life were limited to the people around him who did show him support, like his boyhood parish priest.
