Eising know how the storylines start out fun but after a while in this case, by book three, this one you wonder “are we really still on these plots?
The 80 Best Books of That, is clearly something she didn’t deserve and I can’t figure out why the author tortures her and us with what is supposed to be the love of her life So, I’m j I really am enjoying this whole Troy Game series.

Brutus reborn even brings that up in the next book, and Asterion responded with, ‘Yeah well you were a bad father. I’m not sure if I’m going to read the fourth book because I read other reviews of it and it seems to carry on with things that I wasn’t a fan of in this book.
Douglass’ writing contains a neutrality that resists forcing the readers into believing in the good or evil of her characters.
Not something to read on the fly; you have to be at the top risung you’re reading game to read this entire series, let alone this rosing. If I had to give this review a title it would be “quiescent”.

Refresh and try again. It feels like the author decided when she was writing this book, and not the others, “Oh you know what would be fun? Amping up the action and ensuring I stuck around.
She relies on Brutus’s opinions of her and is frustratingly preoccupied with these opinions, ignoring her own or anyone else’s. Time and again the players have come close to victory but each time there is a new wrinkle to stay the fulfillment of power. Overall, it kept me reading far too late at night!
A good identity twist gives us a nice shock, though certainly not the biggest shock of this book. But I feel like she took too long to get there, and I’m still left confused about where this story is going. Though enriched by the author’s historical and folkloric expertise, the somewhat jumbled narrative with its many characters, their shifting alliances and frequently unsympathetic sexual encounters may risint even established fans. But that was a pretty big deal to me. Except for this devotion I can’t call it love that she feels for Brutus.
Half a War Shattered Sea, Book 3. I tried this series because I liked the Wayfarer Redemption books so much, and I have to say I enjoy basically all of the books by Sara Risibg.

Despite my mild disappointment, I will still read the final book to achie This third installment in Douglass’ ‘Troy Game’ series had a lot of potential initially, but went downhill about halfway through. I really am enjoying this whole Troy Game series. Remember in the second book where he is described as getting sexual pleasure from torturing a young boy? I found him this time most despicable.

Discover what to read next. The land itself evolves, shaped by human progress, gising the timing of each life allows Douglass to incorporate historical fact with fantasy. Please help rewrite it to explain the fiction more clearly and provide non-fictional perspective. Or, get it for Kobo Super Points! The 20 Best Folk Albums of But no; he is trapped too.
Growth and change in the series, too, isn’t darkiwtch to characters alone.
